For us, Hine Rei is more than a name, it is at the centre of all aspects of our kaupapa. It dictates how we move, how we decide, and how we serve. It is a living kaupapa expressed through our daily actions:

The whakapapa of ngā Hine Rei is a journey of reclamation. For generations, the true essence of ngā Hine Rei was shadowed by suppression and the dilution of misinformation.
Through the dedication of Timoti Pahi, acting as the kaitiaki of the sacred mātauranga gifted to him by Papa Hohepa Delamere, the purity of this knowledge was preserved. Timoti’s mahi has been a shield, ensuring that the distortions of the past did not extinguish the light of this kaupapa.
At its core, ngā Hine Rei represents the foundational balance of our existence. They are the weavers of the world we know, holding the space where the physical and spiritual realms meet. In a world that has often lost its equilibrium, the role of ngā Hine Rei is to restore that harmony, balancing strength with grace, and ancient wisdom with modern action.
We carry this name not just as an identity, but as a commitment to the mission Timoti and Papa Hohepa championed, to live in a way that honours the true creative power of ngā Hine Rei and brings the world back into alignment.
