Wānanga Overview
The Indigenous Knowledges of Māori Healing | Taumata Rua wānanga is designed for those who have completed the Indigenous Knowledges of Māori Healing | Taumata Tahi. This wānanga includes two monthly online sessions and a final one-day in-person wānanga (dates below). Participants are welcome to join for the expansion of their own knowledge or to further their journey along the Kaimirimiri Practitioner Pathway at Hine Rei.
Online Wānanga One - Tuesday 8th September, 6pm-8pm
Online Wānanga Two - Tuesday 29th September, 6pm-8pm
Final In-Person - Saturday 24th October, 9.30am-4pm
This wānanga delves deeper into Indigenous Māori Knowledge, focusing on advanced concepts of Health and Wellbeing within the philosophies, art, and practice of Mirimiri and Romiromi. Participants will enhance their skills in facilitating the movement and release of trauma, stress, and pain held within the cellular memory and waterways of the physical body.
