Wānanga Overview
This wānanga is the first taumata in our Indigenous Knowledges of Māori Healing series. It offers foundational mātauranga, to all who feel called to explore the world fo Māori healing, whether to nourish your own knowledge and wellbeing, or to take the first step on our Kaimirimiri Practitioner Pathway here at Hine Rei.
(You do not need to be walking the practitioner pathway to take part).
About this wānanga
Rongoā Māori & Māori healing is so much more than a set of techniques. It is a way of seeing, of understanding, hauora and the whole person, and it carries the knowledge, the values and the wairua our healing traditions are grounded in. Over this weekend we open the door to that mātauranga: its philosophies, its art, and its practice.
