Hine Rei provides spaces that support wāhine and their whānau to remember and activate their inherent mana.
Our Mahi
Hine Rei provides Rongoā Māori services including Mirimiri/Romiromi, Whitiwhiti Kōrero and Taiawa Steamiung. All our services can be accessed privately, or through various funded partners including ACC, below is more information on how we can support you or your whānau.
Our whare is also home to psychologists, counsellors and midwives, all working in partnership to ensure our wāhine and their whānau can thrive.

Our Whakapapa
Hine Rei began with three wāhine and one shared knowing, that wāhine are the centre of our world and when our wāhine are thriving, our communities are thriving.
From this was birthed a sacred space for wāhine to remember and reclaim their mana. A collective healing space with manaakitanga, and mātauranga Māori at its heart. From a kōrero over a kaputī grew a wāhine-led sanctuary built to hold wāhine and their whānau.
